I’ve been an enthusiast photographer since about 2006. Prior to that, I had dabbled in photography since my teens using film and early digital cameras but lacking any clear direction or style.

Recently retired from a 35 year career in information and cyber security, software assurance, and software engineering, I now have the time to pursue photography with more focus and direction. To that end, I have established Foto Betiko, a foundation of sorts where I solicit proposals for documentary photography projects that I conduct for clients free of charge. My purpose is to capture subjects of special significance that might not otherwise be documented.

‘Betiko’ means ‘forever’ in the Basque language, and I try whenever I can to capture scenes and subjects that deserve not to be forgotten.  You can also find my photography on Flickr.
